Should we still present it’s range of ThinkPad from Lenovo ? Acclaimed by the professionals, it comes back stronger than ever. The manufacturer has unveiled no less than nine models, including some intègrant chips Ryzen Pro 4000 AMD.
The cancellation of the MWC will not change the plans of Lenovo. The manufacturer has just announced no less than nine new PC to its famous ThinkPad line. Among the main innovations, it should be noted the integration of chips Ryzen 4000 and Intel 10th generation.
Hailed as tools of productivity, the ThinkPad has long been shunned for their lack of fun, especially on the aspect of multimedia. This new generation attempts to reconcile the two worlds. Lenovo provides Wifi connectivity 6, 4G LTE (on some models) or the compatibility Dolby Audio and Dolby Vision.
ThinkPad X13 and X13 Yoga : the ultra-portable purposes, powerful and affordable
Among the models the most attractive, the ThinkPad X13 (and its hybrid version of Yoga) is characterized by its compact size (13.3″) and its affordable price (from 849 dollars). Attention, affordable does not mean bad. The ThinkPad X13 is a small compendium of technology.
Lenovo ThinkPad X13
Under her dress carbon fiber black (trademark of this range), the ThinkPad X13 contains an Intel processor of the 10th generation, up to 32 Gb of RAM (16 Gb for the Yoga) and up to 2 Tb of solid state storage. Its OLED screen, 13.3-inch can display content in Full HD or Ultra HD, according to the content. The hybrid version, it is equipped with a touch screen. Note that Lenovo offers a version of Privacy Guard that uses the camera of the computer to adjust the brightness if someone is behind you.
ThinkPad T14, T14s and T15 : bestsellers in view
Lenovo also renews its T-series which brings together some of its best-selling models. The T490, his best-selling book, and leaves room for T14 and T14S, the T15 is the successor to the T590.
Lenovo ThinkPad 14S
The manufacturer once again played the card of continuity and retains a similar design to the previous versions. As the X-series, the T adopts the Intel chips of the 10th generation, and can integrate up to 2 Tb of solid state memory. The T14 and T15 integrate premium graphics card NVIDIA Geforce MX330.
Lenovo offers the possibility to choose a 4K display as well as function Privacy Guard for the T14 and T14S. All of these models will arrive in the second quarter of 2020 and will be available from 849 dollars.
ThinkPad L14, L15, L13, and L13 Yoga : Lenovo at a low price
It is still a little expensive ? Lenovo has thought of you. With its new ThinkPad series L (L13, L13 Yoga, L14, L15), the manufacturer offers the experience ThinkPad from 679 dollars. Oh surprise, they carry an Intel chip of the 10th generation, but Lenovo needs to make a few concessions to contain costs. Thus, the L14 and L15 are to be “limited” to 1 Tb memory SSD (or 2tb with a mechanical hard drive), while L13 and L13 Yoga have only one option : the SSD of 1 Tb. Another sacrifice : the absence of Thunderbolt 3.
Lenovo ThinkPad L14
Lenovo has surprised his little world by announcing versions incorporating Ryzen Pro 4000, new mobile cpu from AMD. However, the manufacturer did not provide any date of availability for these models. Versions Intel will arrive in the second quarter of 2020.
