Acer is one of many smartphone manufacturers to release a mid- range Android smartphone at MWC, like the new smartphone Acer Liquid E3.
design of E3
In terms of design there is nothing overly di erent about the Acer Liquid E3, which runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2. It has a decent 4.7in (720×1280, 312ppi) IPS screen and a relatively slim bezel. It’s a nice weight, too, at 135g, and feels solid in the hands.
There’s just 4GB of internal storage, but a microSDHC slot lets you add up to 32GB. A 1.2GHz quad-core chip is coupled with 1GB of RAM, and performance is pretty good – opening- and closing apps, and navigating the home screens and menus is speedy.
Acer E3 camera
The Acer Liquid E3 does not deliver anything in the way of apps for a phone which has made such a song and dance about the 13MP sensor which is packed into it. Rather you’re left with a pretty ordinary affair, one that definitely doesn’t live up to Sony handsets, or even any of the Samsung offerings.
There are a few choices to keep you entertained; scene modes like night, sunset and snow, as well as the fairly normal monochromatic or sepia-fashion color filtering. A negative, aqua- and black / whiteboard effects are also included.
